Bella aka

Beautiful in name, looks and nature Bella is my first homegrown Champion.

She couldn’t have made me prouder in her showing career and of course she is a much loved part of the pack.  Her best friend is Ellie, they are inseparable and love a good cuddle up together.

She was born on the 24th March 2014 to her mum Kinks (Lateagain Twirls and Kinks) and dad Vinnie (Ch Amazon Da Vinci JW).

Her favourite thing in the world is her ball! Oh and she is a thief of all things mop and broom like!

One of her little quirks is she has to see what you are doing, often putting her head over your shoulder.  If you look at her she tries to give you kisses.

Health Tests

Here are Bella’s latest health tests. She had her first litter of beautiful healthy pups in 2019 and she will only have one more litter before she is retired.

Another big class full of mixed types but here is where I found exactly what I was looking for. This classy proud bitch opitimises the standard for me. Athletic and strong with a balanced outline, a strong wedge shaped head, flat skull and defined stop, correct muzzle to skull ratio, a strong arched neck flows to a well laid shoulder, she displays and obvious forechest, stands on well knuckled feet. A rock solid slightly sloping topline and high tailset which she holds firm on the move, what really clinched the CC for her was her super sweep and width of second thigh and her well let down rear pasterns. Many are also too long in rear pastern, this girl has the type of rear I was looking for. There's nothing instantly eye-catchingly flashy about her and that's something the handler could work on by getting away from constantly baiting her and training a free stack, but the more I looked the more I liked her, it was evident what a sound, honest, correct bitch she is. Today was her day for the CC. I later was informed that this was not only a first CC for her but also for her owner/handler, so a very special day for them and it was good to see the crowd appreciate her too and be forthcoming with their congratulations for her owner. In the challenge for the BIS I felt the handler was a little nervous and the bitch rather fidgety and on the referree's (Mr Peter Voros) decision the male took BIS and this girl took BOS. On an agreed decision with the dog judge - Martin Horgan (Aritaur), she also won RBIS. Well done to her connections, and I hope the CC's keep coming for her.

Janice Bannister – Welsh Dobermann Club Championship Show – Oct 2017

4y bitch. I absolutely loved the outline on this girl. Such a super wedge head with correct stop, correct bite, lovely depth to muzzle and excellent planes. Strong, elegant neck. Excellent forechest. Great angulations front and rear. Correct depth of chest and close elbows. Perfect topline and strong loin. Nice tail set and carriage. Well muscled throughout. True coming and going and outstanding balanced movement in side gait. Such a delight to hear she went on to win BIS. BOB/G1

Miss Nicola J Singh – Gloucester and District Open Show

Free standing bitch with excellent front, good bone, strong pastern. Strong topline with well placed tailset. Good overall Dobermann type. Liked her head, good level head planes, strong muzzle, well filled under the eye, keen expression, correctly placed ears. Moved out very well. Pleased to award her Bitch CC and RBIS.

Beverley Barber – The Dobermann Club Championship Show – May 2018

4 year old black and rust, standard sized bitch showing balance throughout and nobility, clean dry head with correct planes with strength that was not overdone, excellent front angles, adequate bone, slightly arched neck that strengthened at the base, pronounced forechest with depth, stong slightly sloping backline correct set tail, excellent return of stifle with a strong rear when standing, moves slightly close behind...that said I was pleased enough to award her the bitch CC. I understand that this was her third and crowning CC, congratulations.

Clive Evans - Windsor Championship Show - July 2018

Most beautiful girl, presenting a very typical profile, square and of good proportions. Clean head, good reach of neck. Very solidly built with quality muscle. Good feet and tail set. Moving out with great ease, extending and driving well. BOB. Working Group 1, and later Res BIS. Well done!

Hazel Fitzgibbon - West Country Dog Club 29/8/2018

Upcoming Litters

Bella has now had two beautiful litters and will not have anymore as I only ever have two litters from my girls.  She will just enjoy her old age at home with me.
